Companion Pet World platform is a pet care total service platform built on the Tron blockchain network. Considering the stability and scalability of transactions, the platform issues its own platform coin called Companion Pet Coin (CPC) based on the TRC-20 token standard set by the Tron blockchain network.
The primary payment methods for purchasing products and using services within the platform are Companion Pet Coin (CPC) and Dog Korea Pay (DKP). Companion Pet Coin (CPC) can also be used as a governance token, while DKP can be exchanged for CPC through CPC wallet services and utilized in virtual asset transactions. Companion Pet Coin (CPC) and Dog Korea Pay (DKP) serve as means to maintain and sustain the platform's ecosystem, enabling the platform to form and maintain a cyclical structure.
• Implementation of Smart Contracts
Companion Pet World platform provides various services related to pet management utilizing smart contracts. The health information and vaccination records of pets stored on the blockchain are automatically processed between users through smart contracts. Smart contracts record the health check-up schedule for pets, send notifications to users to guide them on getting vaccinations, and automatically handle insurance claims when users enroll their pets in insurance.
When transactions occur at online stores within the Companion Pet World platform, all transaction records are recorded on the blockchain. Smart contracts detect these transactions and automatically transfer pet tokens corresponding to the price of the purchased products to the user's wallet. Smart contracts verify the information and price of the purchased products and distribute tokens accordingly, all without user intervention. Users can utilize the tokens acquired within the platform to access additional services or receive discounts.
• Utilization of Decentralized Storage
Companion Pet World platform securely stores important data of pets, such as genetic information, health check results, and vaccination records, utilizing the distributed storage of the blockchain. Distributed storage disperses data across multiple nodes, ensuring the safety of data even in the event of a single server failure or hacking attack. Through this approach, users can securely access data stored on the blockchain and verify the reliability of the data.
• Application of Encryption Technology
Users' personal information and sensitive data of pets are protected using robust encryption technology within the blockchain network. All data is encrypted before storage, reducing the risk of exposure or leakage of sensitive information. Encryption technology ensures secure transmission and storage of data. The blockchain network employs protocols like SSL/TLS for secure data transmission and encrypts data using public and private keys for storage.
Companion Pet World platform offers a wide range of services including real-name pet registration, DNA testing and issuance of DNA profile NFTs, pet adoption services, pet pedigree and lineage management, pet care product shopping malls, expert group services composed of veterinarians, pet trainers, and behavior correction specialists, as well as various cooperative services such as vets, cooperative welfare farms, and pet kindergartens.
Companion Pet World is currently developing its own metaverse service to maximize corporate growth and invest in future value. By launching the metaverse service, it aims to differentiate itself from other services, expand user platform experiences, and broaden the usage of Companion Pet Coin (CPC) within the platform to facilitate the circulation of tokens and activate the platform ecosystem.
The platform holds a patent (Patent No. 10-1733917) for the only DNA pedigree management system in Korea. Utilizing this technology, it conducts DNA testing during the pet adoption process, registers DNA numbers with real names in front of adopters, and issues DNA test certificates as NFTs to record and store them in a way that prevents forgery, tampering, and replication.
Companion Pet World platform is establishing a system that makes it easy to manage individuals by deanonymizing domestic pets. It utilizes blockchain technology, which prevents forgery and tampering, and enables transparent information disclosure to provide pet registration, DNA testing, and pedigree management services. Through these efforts, it aims to contribute to resolving the issue of stray animals, which is a social concern.
Companion Pet World platform aims to create a society where stray pets, which are easily abandoned after adoption, are eliminated by registering pets' DNA numbers under real names, fostering a society where pets and their owners can coexist healthily.
