2. Introduction of Companion Pet World

Companion Pet World Co. has been trying to improve various problems in the companion animal market caused by the rapid growth along with the increase in the companion animal population due to the increase in single-person households

2.1 Lack of social consensus and support

Numerous pets are being abandoned and missing, but integrated management systems are still lacking. The number of abandoned animals in the world is confirmed to be 6.3 million in the United States and 7.99 million in India, and pets abandoned after COVID-19 are emerging as a national problem in China and the United Kingdom. The social problem with pet abandonment is that the pet management system differs by region, animal hospitals, company and country, and there is a lack of alternatives to systematically connect them. Another problem is that there is no place to check information about bloodline (submissive, hybrid) and health status (mental and physical) when selling or adopting a pet. Even if abandoned pets were entrusted to a protection organization, it was difficult to return them or provide appropriate care because there was no information about the owner.

If information on the animal's DNA history is recorded and continuously managed even before the pet is sold, the pet ecosystem can be much improved than it is now. However, pet identification necklaces and built-in wireless devices that the government had been pushing for at the time were shunned by dog owners. This is because it is ineffective and only imposes obligations on pets and does not include any improvements to make pets healthy and happy unemployed.

2.2 Problems and Solutions

Many pets are abandoned and missing at this moment, but there is still a lack of integrated management systems. When selling pets, proper breeds, diseases, and family history are not provided, causing pets to suffer. There is no integrated system and standards for pets, so it is difficult to trust and use pet information.

Companion Pet World has been looking for ways to protect the social system of pets. We have developed a system that can transparently show health information and lineage information of pets, and have made efforts to create a happy pet culture by conducting a "world without abandoned pets" campaign through advertisements and broadcasts. Furthermore, we are planning to create a new transparent and reliable pet culture by introducing blockchain technology.

Companion Pet World helps you enjoy life with your pets longer. This requires a companion information network that can be trusted, verified by anyone, and used anywhere. And a cooperative ecosystem of various experts, companies, and public institutions is essential to utilize it.
